Closed on Easter?

My friend, Kiki and I went to the Copley Mall yesterday only to find it largely closed. The same was found when we went to the Prudential Mall. Yes, yesterday was Easter.

However, when did Easter get raised to become a National Holiday?

I thought that if the US had one stated religion it was Capitalism more than anything else. What the hell?

It wasn't that long ago, 20 years or so, that nearly all stores in Mass. were closed every Sunday. So 51 out of 52 is a dramatic improvement. And it's only been 2 or 3 years that you can buy alcohol on Sunday.

Yeah, but I wanted to shop then... This whole deferred gratification thing has always been as lost on me as with the average four-year-old.
